OUR HISTORY
In 2015, The Lord called us to the nations, going into communities to bless them. We taught on identity in Christ and God's goodness and simply partnered with what we saw Jesus currently doing. Since then, He has connected us to communities in Nigeria, India, Pakistan, and Ireland. We got to witness God do incredible miracles, bring thousands to salvation, and see His church grow throughout the world. The house church movement in India that we've poured into has grown from 35 house churches to over 450, we've done crusades in Africa and Pakistan, seeing thousands give their lives to Jesus at a time, walked the streets in the Middle East sharing the Gospel, and have been blown away at God's mighty strength through our weakness.
In 2019, the leadership team took a trip to visit Upperroom Dallas, where we encountered the Lord powerfully. They prayed over us that the Lord would halt our travel in 2020 so we could grow roots in Indianapolis and build a community around His Presence. This was months before the world shut down and the Lord saw it coming. We began to steward this word by meeting regularly to pray and worship. We met in homes and started to build a community around the Presence of God and what He wanted to do.
Throughout 2020 to the end of 2021 we worshipped together, read the Word regularly and prayed. The Lord continually reminded us of His vision for downtown Indianapolis to be saturated in prayer, worship, and sharing the Gospel and we decided to officially launch as a local Church and a House of Prayer in Haughville which is located on the near Westside of Indianapolis. We had our first service on a Thursday night in January and have been continually meeting every Thursday to Worship and hear the Word together. We are dreaming of a resting place for God in our city where the Lord dwells and His people minister to Him continually. The Bible tells us that if the name of Jesus is lifted high, then He will draw all men unto Him. We have witnessed the Lord move powerfully and He's just getting started in our city. In 2022, the Lord started to give us dreams and visions about IUPUI and influencing Gen Z with the Gospel. He also directed us through mentors and leaders to let the Lord develop an organic leadership team to help us lead 420. Sure enough by the end of 2022 we had an amazing support system of people that the Lord had brougth into our lives. Through intentional prayer, we decided to move out of New Direction Worship Center in Haughville and back into a home for gatherings. It was as if the Lord wanted to rebuild our foundation and it was truly beautiful to walk through that with friends and people we would call family.
Early in 2023, the Lord gave us direction since the house was overcrowded and we needed more space to grow. We ended up moving into Victory Alliance Tabernacle in Fountain Square to host Prayer Sets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-noon and Thursday evening gatherings at 7pm. Adam Tallent pastors VAT and is a huge support to us! It's amazing to be a part of the local community and to continue to let the Lord build His house in our city. We have committed to targeted outreaches on the campus of IUPUI and continued worship and prayer in Indianapolis!
